WELCOME TO THE CLIMATE JUSTICE HUB

The climate crisis is catastrophic. Extreme weather has devastated lives and livelihoods, especially those of the poor and vulnerable. Climate change is caused by the historical exploitation of the world’s resources and carbon by the wealthiest nations and individuals. Climate change embodies the global contradiction between capitalist development and ecological sustainability, which threatens human survival. Climate-resilient communities are a proactive response to climate change. Resilience goes beyond adapting to climate change. Resilience involves people and communities defending their lives and livelihoods and shaping and owning development policies and programmes.
